LittleStar seeks a dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team and assist in various aspects of marketing, social media management, fundraising, and graphic design. This position provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the ABA field and a non-profit organization. This is a part time role, 20-24 hours/week

Condition of Employment

· Must successfully pass the initial and updated criminal history, background, and record checks, which includes driving history checks.

· Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as provided by LittleStar, where physical distance cannot be attained, as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Social Media Management:

o Create engaging content for various social media platforms.

o Schedule and publish posts to maximize reach and engagement in our courses.

o Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, gain more reviews, and analyze performance metrics.

· Graphic Design:

o Design visually appealing graphics for digital and print materials.

o Collaborate to brand LittleStar.

o Assist in creating marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.

· Marketing Support:

o Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and fundraising campaigns.

o Assist in organizing and coordinating promotional and/or fundraising events.

· Adheres to all LS policies and procedures.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications and Skills

· High school diploma or GED required, must be currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program or recent graduate.

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Strong passion for marketing, social media, and graphic design.

· Proficient in Adobe InDesign; additional knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop preferred.

· Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.

· A positive team player and energetic professional

· Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

· Good judgment and creative thinking skills

· Ability to communicate appropriately given the circumstances of the situation and individuals involved.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and audiovisual equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Travel

Travel is generally not expected for this position but may be occasional, as needed.
